S Korea remains biggest naphtha supplier for China in 2011: GAC

Guangzhou (C1 Energy)--South Korea was still the biggest naphtha supplier for China in 2011, supplying 1.31m tonnes to the latter, data from the General Administration of Customs (GAC) showed.
This volume accounted for about 53% of China's naphtha imports in the year.
Naphtha from South Korea was mainly consumed by Qingdao Lidong Chemical, C1 research showed.
Iran ranked the second with 614,631 tonnes of naphtha exports to China in 2011, followed next by Papua New Guinea with 209,611 tonnes. These two countries have also become major naphtha suppliers for China.
