C1 Energy (Shanghai) – Sep 8, 2010 －－－Sinopec Tianjin Petrochemical is scheduled to process 970,000mt of crude oil in September, with daily throughput flat with the previous month, a source with the refinery told C1.
Tianjin Petrochemical stepped up crude runs after expanding annual topping capacity to 13-mil mt end 2009 and its daily crude oil throughput was stable at over 30,000mt on average in the second quarter of this year, C1's record showed.
Tianjin Petrochemical is located in Tianjin city in North China. It brought on stream a 1-mil-mt/yr ethylene unit in January 2010, the largest single unit in terms of production capacity in China.
