C1 Energy (Shanghai) – Sep 7, 2010 －－－Tongyi Industrial Group is expected to put a 200,000-mt/yr LPG deep processing unit into production in Fushun City of Northeast China's Liaoning Province in end December, according to a source with the company.
The unit would use C4 olefin to produce propylene, the source said, adding feedstock would be from Fushun Petrochemical and the other surrounding refineries.
In addition, Tongyi Industrial Group plans to bring on line a 115,000-mt/yr isobutene-to-isobutylene unit and a 125,000-mt/yr butane-to-butadiene unit in September 2011, a 120,000-mt/yr butadiene-to-butadiene rubber unit and a 100,000-mt/yr isobutylene-to-butyl rubber unit by the end of 2012 and a 200,000-mt/yr propylene-to-butanol and octanol unit in October 2013, the source introduced.
