C1 Energy (Shanghai) – Aug 31, 2010 ---Sinopec plans to transmit a combined 719,300mt of gasoil and gasoline to Southwest China’s Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan via its Southwest Oil Product Pipeline in September, down 2.3% from the previous month, revealed a source with pipeline department of the oil giant.
Gasoil allocation was 592,000mt, flat on month, while gasoline declined 12% to 127,300mt, the source said.
The supply was about 24,000mt a day on average, slightly down 2% from the previous month, the source noted.
The pipeline has been running at full capacity, which would see stable transmission volume in the future except for emergency situation, the source furthered.
Sinopec Southwest Oil Product Pipeline kicked off construction on Sep 19, 2003 and came onto stream by the end of 2005. It starts from Maoming of Guangdong province and ends in Kunming of Yuan province, passing through 37 cities and towns within Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan. Stretching out 1,691km in its full length and linking up 19 stations, it is the largest-scaled and longest oil products pipeline in the country by far.
