Mar 08, 2010 19:17 PM

C1 Energy (Shanghai) – Mar 8, 2010 ---BP is expected to sell 200,000-cu-m refrigerated LPG terminal in Zhuhai City in South China's Guangdong Province, according to a source with a state-owned refinery in South China.
The company has started negotiation with a state-owned refinery on the sale, the source said without giving more details.
A source with CNOOC Huizhou refinery denoted CNOOC might not be a potential buyer, because the oil giant had gas project in Indonesia. "It is no need to purchase a refrigerated LPG terminal with such a large storage capacity," said the source.
Comments from BP Zhuhai were unreachable at present.
BP Zhuhai imported 428,000mt of LPG in 2009, ranking as the fourth largest LPG importer in China in the year.
As C1 reported earlier, BP sold two 32,000-cu-m refrigerated LPG tanks and two 6,300-cu-m pressurized LPG tanks in Taicang of Jiangsu Province in East China to Zhangjiagang Oriental Energy Co (ZOUEC) in October 2009.
