LPG consumption in different Chinese provinces witnessed dramatic changes these years due to amplifying refining capacity and pressure brought by alternative energies such as natural gas and dimethyl ether (DME).
Currently, National Bureau of Statistics has no official data on LPG consumption by province in China, as there are thousands of distributors in the country, and many resources are produced in the north but shipped to the southern and eastern areas for consumption.
However, it brings along new investment opportunities for companies who grasp an overall and profound picture of the demand and trading flow in domestic LPG market.
This report presents to you the details of Chinese LPG market by maps in two parts: one part is China’s LPG supplies maps on which you can see locations of LPG refineries, terminals and jetties, as well as capacities of various domestic refineries, oilfields, LPG terminals and depots; the other part is China’s provincial LPG consumption maps which shows the details of LPG consumptions in different provinces of the country.
C1 surveys over ten thousand distributors throughout the country, and conducts this in-depth and all-around research with samples of 300-500 gas companies and 500-600 distributors at a span of all China.
Methodology
* Picking samples from local gas companies and distributors of all provinces and cities;
* Obtaining the detailed data of LPG inflow and outflow in different provinces via phone calls to refineries, terminals, big gas companies, shipping enterprises, etc;
* Site visiting the gas associations and gas agencies in various provinces to verify the data;
* Analyzing the data and establishing charts and maps.
